Introduction

In this test we will find out which is the world's fastest flash memory card. The cards will be read in two very fast card readers, the Addonics IDE to CF adapter and Hama Traveldrive CF. Both card readers are capable of using the UDMA (Ultra Direct Memory Access) modes these cards support.
These ultra high speed cards will be compared to slower rated cards.
Flash Memory Toolkit was used as the standard benchmark.
We also measured how well the cards performed in a camera, the Canon XTi/400D. With this test we measured how many pictures could be taken in one minute.
