Menu Introduction ATP ProMax II (4GB) Lexar Professional UDMA (2GB) Sandisk Extreme IV (2GB) Transcend 266X (2GB) TwinMOS Ultra-X 300X (2GB) Conclusion |
||
ConclusionIt was easy to pick a winner of this test. The ATP ProMax II 300X has the fastest write speed and the second fastest read speed.The Lexar Professional UDMA 300X is not far behind and is also a very good choice. The SanDisk Extreme IV is again a bit slower but still offers very respectable speeds. These three cards are highly recommended if you have a camera which is capable of using these high speeds and if you want to transfer your photos as quickly as possible to your computer. The TwinMOS Ultra-X 300X is not recommended. It's much slower than the other cards and really doesn't deserve the 300X speed rating. That leaves the Transcend 266X. It has the highest read speed but also the lowest write speed. This makes this card very suitable for transferring your photos to computer but not for cameras which can handle UDMA write speeds. Performance chartsFor comparison, the SanDisk Ultra II and SanDisk Extreme III were added to the charts. |
